One of the most significant inspirations behind my music is the tradition of Byzantine Chant—one of the oldest forms of music still in use today. Rooted in the worship of the Orthodox Church, its modal system, ornamentation, and spiritual depth have deeply shaped my compositional voice.
For an overview of its historical and musical context, you can refer to this encyclopedic summary on Byzantine Chant.
This page features my original compositions and transpositions in the Byzantine style, along with selected recordings. It is an ongoing project, and I look forward to expanding and refining it over time.
